About FSEA

Since its inception in 1992, the Foil & Specialty Effects Association has worked toward industry awareness and growth. It serves as a resource and educational platform for decorating technologies, including foil stamping, embossing, cold foil technologies, specialty coatings, laminates and laser cutting.

The FSEA is pleased to be supported in its efforts by a volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of leaders in print finishing providers and industry suppliers.

Entries were received from around the world, including the US, Canada, Denmark and Taiwan. Judged on design, execution and level of difficulty, the competition assesses submissions utilizing specialty finishing techniques from foil stamping and embossing to specialty coating, film laminating, laser cutting, die cutting, cold foil application and more. With a commitment to gaining visibility for the processes and those companies that execute the decorative enhancements, the competition celebrates the quality, added value, shelf presence, security and brand recognition that these finishing processes lend to the printed sheet.
